Civilizations:
• The advent of American Civilization was founded in the coastal
regions of the Gulf of Mexico.
• Back to 1200 BC, culture of Olmec people was modernized by
Mycenae and Trojan War.
• Aryans from North India, Shang from China and Hebrews from
Egypt moved towards Canaan.
• In Central America, the civilization of Olmecs lasted for
about three centuries.
• Then the Chavin culture of Peru was followed for more than
2000 years.

• Then the Korean War was held to keep South Korea free.
• The longest war fought by USA was Vietnam War. It was badly
lost by Americans.
• Then USA also participated on a dispute between Kuwait and
Iraq. That war is remembered as desert storm.
• Then in 2001, Americans attacked Afghanistan blaming them the
hit on twin towers on 11 September 2001.
• United States invaded Iraq on 19 March 2003, and their troops
are still present on Iraqi territories.

Presidents and Rulers:
The history of American rulers and presidents is densely loaded.
The well-known rulers of the time are listed below:
• George Washington:
He was the first president of the United States and ruled from
1789 to 1797. During American Revolution he was a commander in
chief of the continental army.
• John Adams:
John Adams was the second president of America and known as
Atlas of Independence. His ruling period was from 1797 to 1801.
He was a brave man. He acted as an ambassador from Massachusetts
to the Continental Congress. He is still remembered as a
patriotic and talented man.
• Thomas Jefferson:
Thomas Jefferson was the third president of United States and
identified as the Man of the people. He provided his services as
a president from 1801 to 1809. Through his writing skills he
shaped the philosophy of American politics.
• James Madison
The fourth president of the state was James Madison. From 1809
to 1817, he provided his services to the nation and labeled as
the Father of Constitution. He had contributed in developing
religious freedom statutes and settled other liberal procedures
of the state.
• James Monroe
The fifth president of the state, James Monroe had his term from
1817 to 1825. He was a soldier, a diplomat, a senator and above
all brought an era of prosperity and comfort.
Education:
• The history of American education was greatly influenced by
Europeans.
• Around eleventh century, medieval universities contributed a
lot toward educational sector and had long-lasting effects.
• From 1600 to 1776, colonial period had shown its intense
interest in the education and learning area.
• From 1776 to 1840, the period is called as Early National
Period of American education. It brought up many brilliant
scientists like Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Noah
Webster and many more.
• From 1840 to 1920, the state experienced progressive
development in science, medicine and technology.
• From 1920 to present, American educational system has entered
into a modern period of disciplined education.
Observing its history, it can be concluded that USA had gone
