the family, and wishing to avoid hurting one's parents.
The health professional must not also ignore the use of drugs by
these minority groups, which reveals their unique pattern
related to ethnicity, gender, immigrant status, and age groups.
Also the health professionals in designing their programs must
address the emotional triggers such as fear of addiction and
disgrace attached to drug users in the community, which would
help them in reducing the HIV risk.
Besides these, the environmental influences must also be catered
through rigorous training and counseling of the APIMSM and
programs must be built for extensive coverage of the awareness
of potential hazards of HIV.
